I had a great diving weekend at Hotel Los Cobanos Village Lodge, but there were a few drawbacks. The location is perfect for diving, with easy access to Los Cobanos Reef, but the hotel's facilities left something to be desired. The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the clean, spacious rooms, though some amenities could be better.

My stay at Hotel Los Cobanos Village Lodge was quite enjoyable, thanks to the welcoming hosts and spacious rooms with a stunning sea view. However, the experience was somewhat marred by the lack of hot water and limited dining options. Despite these issues, I appreciated the peaceful environment and the chance to immerse myself in the local fishing culture.

The hotel is right in the heart of Salvadoran fishing culture, providing easy access to fresh seafood and cultural immersion. It also offers a nice path to a secluded beach nearby.

The dining options were limited, especially during weekdays, and the food didn’t meet high standards. Breakfast was the highlight but could be more varied.

Los Cobanos Village Lodge has a serene atmosphere and is situated in a stunning location near the beach, but the accommodations and facilities leave much to be desired. The management appears welcoming, though I found the amenities underwhelming, especially given the cost.
Rooms

The rooms were large and spacious, albeit worn and old. Unfortunately, I encountered issues with cleanliness, as there were ants and cockroaches present.

I found the owners to be incredibly warm and helpful, making me feel at home during my stay. However, the staff's overall attentiveness to guests' needs was lacking.

The lodge is beautifully located along the beach, which made for great views and a relaxing environment. However, there's not much to do within walking distance.
Dining

Dining options were limited, but I opted for a local woman to cook for me, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The lodge doesn't offer many choices, and the local small dining places were not always clean.
Facilities

Facilities need significant improvements; there was no hot water and internet only worked in specific outdoor areas. It felt much like camping without essential comforts.

My stay at Los Cobanos Village Lodge had its highlights and challenges. The cozy rooms and friendly staff made for a pleasant atmosphere, yet noise from neighbors and the lack of basic amenities were disappointing. The location was a big plus, with quick access to a beautiful beach and opportunities to connect with locals, but I left with mixed feelings overall.

My stay at Hotel Los Cobanos Village Lodge had its ups and downs. The location is great for those looking to escape the tourist crowds, but the cleanliness of the room and pool left a lot to be desired. The food was definitely a highlight, though, and the friendly staff made the experience a bit more pleasant.

The room was spacious with a lovely porch view of the ocean, but it was dirty and hadn't been cleaned well. There were spider webs in the corners and even cockroaches, which was quite off-putting.

The staff were friendly and warm, really accommodating. but their availability was sometimes lacking. There were instances where they could have been more responsive, especially regarding the noise issues during my stay.

The hotel is in a nice spot, away from the hustle of typical tourist traps and right in the heart of Salvadorean culture. I enjoyed exploring the nearby deserted beaches and lush paths, making it a tranquil getaway.
Dining

The meals at the onsite restaurant were quite tasty, with breakfast being a great deal at just $3. However, options were limited outside the weekend, and I found it difficult to find vegetarian options without venturing far.
Facilities

The pool area was picturesque, but it was dirty and in need of a good cleaning. There were no refrigerators in the room, which I found inconvenient for keeping snacks. Overall, the facilities felt somewhat neglected.
